Color Guard Director

Timber Creek High School in Keller, TX is accepting applications for a full time Color Guard Director and technician staff.

Roles for the Color Guard Director includes working with the Band Directors directly, overseeing all day to day operations of the Color Guard, maintaining a positive and safe atmosphere for students, choreography, teaching, recruiting and administrative needs for the group. Applicants must be able to attend the daily class period, after school rehearsals as well as all football games, competitions and other performance opportunities. Prior teaching and directing experience and strong performance experience within DCI/WGI groups preferred. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Roles for technician staff include assisting the Director in teaching and maintaining a positive atmosphere for students. Technician staff must be available for the class period, after school rehearsals and performances and is paid a competitive hourly rate. Prior teaching experience and a strong performance resume preferred.

The Timber Creek High School Band is a highly competitive program and made its debut at the UIL State Marching Competition in 2021. The TC Band has been a finalist at the BOA DFW Regional, champion at the BOA Midland Regional and consistent finalist in local competitions. The Timber Creek guard is competitive within the NTCA circuit and WGI in both Scholastic AA and National A classes. The Timber Creek guard is a large program with wonderful students and very supportive parents and administration.
